Submitting an Initial Research Inquiry
When making an inquiry or placing an order for research, include a pedigree chart and pertinent family group records. Be sure to give complete information on the line(s) for which research needs to be performed and details of research already completed to avoid duplication of searches.
What to Include in Your Inquiry:
- Full names, known dates, and places of birth, marriage, immigration, and death for the target ancestor(s).
- A pedigree chart and pertinent family group sheets showing how the line connects.
- Copies or citations of records already searched so there is no duplication of effort.
- Your specific research goal and preferred research package (20, 30, or 40 hours) or non-package hourly retainer.
